The reason that ninja turtles gets two weeks at one is because on week one my 5 year old son says, “DAD! I want to see the ninja turtle movie!” And I have to go make sure there aren’t any boobs or bad words, or gratuitous violenence. So I go see ninja turtles instead of Guardians (for a second time.) then the second week I go and now I take me AND my kids to see it, instead of Guardians (for the third time.) and that is the story of how Michael Bay stole my movie theater time from me for two weeks.
And since none of you have seen it, here’s a review… It’s not my ninja turtles, but the kids liked it. They hit the dynamics of their personalities but negated the need for ninja skills by making them nearly invincible, and they threw away Shredders character by making him boring. Ronan from Guardians was riveting in comparison to shredder.
