This week on Hold 322… The internet exploded last week at the announcement of a Boston boy getting the role of all roles… get our reaction. Meanwhile, Edgar Wright dashes our hopes, Preacher is still going to happen if DJ Caruso has anything to say about it, Simon Pegg points at a Batman poster, and Katee Sackhoff wants to play Harley Quinn. In comics Batman 66 is a series, Superman gets a new ally and an enemy, Spider-Man is still not Superior, and The Avengers fight an Infinity skirmish in two separate issues (we tell you which one to read first). Bob asks: “What happened to Superman’s cape?”
All this and Rip Kirby! Face front, true believers… it’s the World’s Greatest Comic Book Podcast… it’s Hold 322!

Hello! I am testing the comments ’cause W. Lewis said they don’t work.
Seems W Lewis might be using a girly little mac machine or something ’cause these comments, they work just fine.
Not a girly mac, JM. Just using IE, which is even worse.
What I was trying to say was that I just wanted to point out one more interesting little twist on the whole Benn Affleck kerfuffle (well, interesting to me, at least. Your mileage may vary). Ben Affleck already has played Superman, after a fashion. He played George Reeves in “Hollywoodland,” and did so quite well.
I want to see this scene in the new movie. When they first meet, Batman looks Supes up and down, and then dismisses him with a “Been there. Done that.”
