This week on Hold 322… BOOM! gets a new website, Hugh Jackman wants an Avengers vs X-Men movie, Superman breaks up with Penny (Leonard breaths a sigh of relief), Summer Glau joins the cast of Arrow, and an X-Force movie may just happen after all. In comics: Batman’s zero year gets crazier; Batgirl gets a good night out before a bigger shit storm hits; The Young Avengers compress a year’s worth of adventures into a series of tweets; The Superior Spider-Man is less than superior; and Hawkguy’s brother Barney comes by for a visit. Bob asks: “Who should play the Joker in the next Batman franchise?”
All this and Vin Diesel as the Vision? Face front, true believers! It’s Hold 322!

Whatever was going on with the seating arrangement it worked. This was a really funny episode.
Lee Pace (in addition to being so handsome) is a really good actor. He was the star of the TV show Pushing Daisies, but also has done a lot of stage work, was one of the elves (Thranduil) in the Hobbit movie, and the asshole New York congressman Fernando Wood in Lincoln. I don’t know the Guardians of the Galaxy comic very well but casting him makes me more interested.
I have to admit this episode was pretty funny.. I was getting angry looks for 2 hours because I was actually laughing so hard, while on the flight back from prepping for our Next film festival.
If you want more of the Friday the 13th series you can watch Warehouse 13 it has less X-Files vibes but more Eureka happy go lucky feelings AND equally important it has a fairly hot redhead.
I have a feeling that Fox will probably end introducing X-Force via a coda after the Deadpool movie if they time it properly.. They have actually already brought in Havoc within X-Men first class (yeah they screwed the timelines up pretty bad). Since I am really not with Guardians of the Galaxy does Corsair (Havok and Cyclop’s Father) come into play with that section of the Marvel IP? He isn’t a mutant but I think it would be interesting to see if Marvel could swoop in and have a cameo. Like a wanted photo on a space station or something
I say William Dafoe should be the joker.. He has the bravado that makes the Joker fun.. He can be a crazy SOB AND he has that elongated pointy chin to boot.
I love the concept of Tilda Swinton.. It would be a cool to have her be Harley as well but I would much rather like to see it tie into the darker story lines such as killing robin with the crowbar and go into the Red Hood storyline.
I really hope they introduce Harley in the reboot. Actually, Tim Bruce and Paul Dini should run the DC cinematic universe with Nolan.
PS. don’t worry Jeff I think your angst towards me is hilarious.. Do I need to bring you guys beers and hotwings for your next show?
